The Miami Beach Urban Studios (MBUS) is the vision of the College of Architecture + The Arts (CARTA). Headquartered in the iconic 420 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, MBUS is a creative space for students and the community in the heart of one of the most vibrant artistic urban centers in the world.
Each semester, graduate and undergraduate CARTA students attend MBUS where they gain professional experience using expansive design and performance spaces, gallery/exhibition spaces, the , 3D printers and more. Through the Office of Engaged Creativity, students, faculty and staff cooperate with design firms and public, private, and nonprofit arts organizations throughout the city.
